Frustrated with EE

Auntbetty

My wife is deaf and I was told I can purchase some Xrai glasses through EE which will allow her to access subtitles in conversations, I went to a EE shop in Harrogate, which we were visiting at the time, and was told I had to have a EE phone or account to get a pair. I called up EE to take out a SIM only account and was told by the operator that he could order me the glasses once the order was processed and would get them sent to me. After hearing nothing for almost 3 weeks I called EE today to be told that my account was open but I cannot order the glasses and they where really unhelpful as to why or how I can get them so I am posting here in the hope that someone from EE can help me to sort this

@Auntbetty  You can only purchase from the add to plan store once you have been a contract customer for 30 days.

Also what you got told in the store is incorrect you don’t have to be a contract customer of EE to purchase these outright.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi Yes

Thank you Chris, so how can I get them

You can order these from any EE Store & if they don't stock them they will order them in from another store that does via their Sales Plus system.

@Auntbetty   I’ve just had a look through the add to plan store and it looks like EE no longer offer these.  ( or I just couldn’t find them )  perhaps @Leanne_T  can give more information on this.

Hi @Chris_B and @Auntbetty

I've had a look and, unfortunately, it isn't available to order through us at the moment.
