We ordered an Apple watch 8 for my daughter's 18th. We were told we would get a text message and/or notifications via the app to confirm our delivery date. We paid for next day delivery but it was after 5 on a Friday.
We waited hole all day anyway just in case we heard something. No text, no notification. But a delivery driver came to the door, account address, with the item. They wanted to know the PIN number we had been sent. We haven't been sent anything. They told us the last few digits of the number it was sent to - a number we've never heard of before - then refused to hand it over to the account holder at the account address! I now have a very upset daughter!
We were never told we would need to provide a pin to the driver. Is this normal practice?!
