DPD courier arrives with watch but no PIN was sent by EE

Hi,
Once again EE show they don't know how their system works. I ordered an upgrade to my existing Apple Watch, order confirmed fine and "we'll send the PIN to your number, {watch phone number}" which of course doesn't work as the watch is not on that number......
Also no details uploaded to DPD so I can't track through the app; which happens everytime.
C'mon EE use the number on the account which is listed as main contact not a number which you know can't receive texts.....

@Profile closed Once DPD have the item it’s their tracking via the DPD app that gives you this information. And the four digit pin is also on the app.

Ehhh, NO.
no tracking in DPD app, I have no parcels according to DPD.
despite having a correctly setup app I have never been able to track EE parcels through the app as EE do not send the correct info to DPD, every other company can manage it…..
The main problem is EE send the text to the number being upgraded which is fine for a phone but does NOT work for a watch as the number associated with the watch sim does not accept texts……..
If EE worked like every other company there would not a problem, but EE have to do their own thing……..

I understand your frustration that the number is incorrect for the delivery. Have you been able to speak to someone as @Katie_B suggested, so that our team can correct the contact number for delivery?
