Unfortunately not.

The store will need to have the Account Holder (you) in store with Photographic ID (UK Driving Licence, Full (Book) Passport) in order to release the phone into your custody.

They will conduct an ID Scan which requires taking a selfie and picture of the ID. Once this is checked and cleared, the phone can be handed over.

Thanks. Couldn’t that be done over FaceTime with me? If I set up verified id? She’s a student not studying at home and can’t guarantee there being someone at her flat to take delivery

No, the store needs to physically see the photographic ID. There's very good security reasons for ensuring that only the authorised account holder takes delivery of the device and/or SIM.

Thanks Matt. I’ve set up verified id so they don’t need to see the physical document. When I go into it on the app, it scans my face and generates a qr code - surely I could send that to my daughter whilst in store? Maybe a suggestion for future, even if there are additional checks.
How do I change the delivery from store to home please?

Unfortunately the rules are that you as the Account Holder need to be physically present within the store to conduct the checks and take possession of the device.

If you need to adjust your delivery based on this, I would suggest contacting EE Customer Services to discuss.
