Hi I’m currently in China but I want to activate my EE card now and I have bought a pac of £15 for 50GB data but when I check my balance it shows that the balance is 0. And I still can’t receive any text messages or send any messages. Could you please help?

Hello @Coco789 ,
Welcome to the. Community,
You cannot activate the SIM card whilst abroad, these need to be activate in the UK first and if pay as you go, then you need to make a chargeable call or text in the UK, otherwise they will not work.
You can either return the SIM card to someone in the UK you know and trust, get them to activate and make a chargeable call or text and then return it to you. You will otherwise have to wait until you return to the UK, as this is a UK network and so will not work.
On pay as you go, you can only use up to 25GB data, not 50GB and I would also suggest taking a look at the cost of using the SIM card in China, as that pack is for the UK, not China.
