Hello EE community,
I have revently purchased a Xbox game pass from a 3rd party last month ( 1 MONTH ). Now I cannot cancel my subscription anymore, it keeps renewing my game pass. How do I cancel this subscription?
I've tried to contact xbox/microsoft and they said to contact BT/EE.
Any help please.
Greetings,
Vino

I want too to deactivate my periodic billing for the 1 MONTH XBOX GAME PASS ULTIMATE so that I am not charged the following month. I'm from Mexico, I bought a global subscription through ENEBA, and BT doesn't even let me create an account to manage the subscription. I hope you can help me, it's urgent.

Hi @MalenyRdz,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
If you aren't an EE or BT customer, you can't be billed directly by BT/EE for any subscription services.
Please contact the retailer you purchased your subscription from if you have any queries.

No they havent thats the thing, i have read in numberous post on forums if you don't do anything about it, microsoft will suspend ur account and all progress is lost, including games, achievements etc...
I am afraid of losing my account..

Me too now that you say that!
Where did you buy the subscription?
I did on ENEBA https://www.eneba.com/latam/
And I have the same issue!!! I need to deactivate that!!!

Well, I just did what you told me James, and even Microsoft tells me I should seek for help with you!
Literally, they tell me this: "You see, BT/EE is a Telephone service provider in Ukraine which provides this kind of Game Pass Ultimate services, since these services are managed by them, we cannot make changes to this subscription and this is the reason why it has not been possible for you to manage your subscription, since they are the only ones who can."
So, who's gonna help me with this?
I can't make an account on BT to manage my subscription like it said in your page cause I'm from Mexico, my phone (which is a requirement) isn't accepted for obvious reasons.
Now, I have to ask. You tell me that if I am not a BT customer as such, then they cannot charge me directly, right?
I'm asking cause I made the purchase from https://www.eneba.com/latam/.
So, what's gonna happen now if I can't manage my subscription to deactivate the periodic billing? Cause neither through the Microsoft page nor through the console does it let me manage it because it turns out that you are the ones who should manage my subscription. When I click on "Manage" it sends me directly to this page. So what happens?

Hi @MalenyRdz,
If your subscription is being billed via an EE customer account, only the registered account holder can manage the subscription.
You should contact the reseller that sold you the subscription for support.

so if you can't help, should I enjoy the fact that someone else is paying me a subscription? Is this what you mean by saying you can't do anything about it?

Hi bro, did you solve it? i have the same problem 😞

hello, I didn't do anything... The subscription was supposed to end on 24/12/2023 and it continues... They don't want to deal with me, the seller of the code doesn't respond, so I'm screwing it... Someone pays me, so let him pay, it's his the problem, not mine, I was interested in solving it... Let them go to hell

I purchased a code from a seller through LT GAMES, unfortunately it turned out to be a scam/extortion. It was supposed to be a code for the XBOX GAME PASS ULTIMATE for a month, but it turned out to be a non-cancelable subscription managed by a third party company "BT/EE" and not Microsoft. It follows from this that using the account from which I activated the subscription and on which it is active, nothing can be done with it - that is, I cannot cancel it. It can be managed via a BT/EE account, which I don't have access to. (I didn't have a BT account or an EE account previously). The supplier has access. He said there was nothing he could do and recommended that I contact Microsoft, while Microsoft support said only BT/EE could help me with this. I need help stopping this scam. I can't create a bt account to get help from them because the activation code is not coming to my email. Also I can't add new codes to xbox game pass because the subscription is managed by bt/ee This is the same problem faced by at least a dozen people posting on the BT/EE forums
