I texted "Stop Roaming Pass" on 10th February but I was charged for the whole month to 1st March !
Why? Seems unfair and a bit of a rip-off.

The Roam Abroad Pass costs £25 per billing month from the billing month you order it (text ROAMING PASS to 150) until the billing month you cancel it (text STOP ROAMING PASS to 150). For all billing months during which you have the Pass it is charged at the full £25. However if the Pass is carried over from the 1st billing month to the next it will be charged pro-rata for that 1st month alone.

Thanks, that's exactly what I did and what I got.
But it's a money-grabbing rip-off isn't it ?
The first roaming pass I had I rang up to order it and gave a start and a finish date, and was only charged for that period.
So why is it different when I do it by text ?
Stop means stop - unless you are EE !

Sorry, I don't see how CS on the phone can put a termination date on it in advance.

Well, they certainly did.
And they have done so for my wife more than once.

Well, you know what to do next time!

Normal process for the roaming pass is that it's applied on an ongoing basis, and the billing you describe is normal.
It sounds like you've been fortunate when your wife had the pass.
