When do you get Apple One code?

Once you activate your sim card, when are we likely to get the Apple One access?

@CrankyDuckHead  Not on your Apple account but on your EE account.   Your Apple account doesn’t know you have this until you link it to it via your EE account.

Once Apple One has been added to your account, or selected as the inclusive extra option, you'll receive a text message to confirm. 
Just follow the link in the text message to complete the activation.
