TNT Sports activated but not working

I have TNT sports as an inclusive extra, I have activated it on the EE website. However, when I go to use the discovery+ app and watch TNT sports it states that I need to upgrade my pass. Very frustrating 😠.

Did you switch from BT Sport or is it a brand new subscription?

Do you have any discovery+ subscriptions via other service providers?

I did have BT Sport. I only signed up for discovery+, switched my BT Sport account and activated TNT sports when I chose TNT sports as my inclusive extra. I changed my inclusive extra from BT Sport to EU Roaming a few months ago and then changed it back to TNT sports this month.

I only have a discovery+ account and subscription through TNT sports. When I launch the app it states I don't have any subscription and I need to pay for a pass. I cannot access my TNT sports subscription whatsoever.

Did you receive a verification link via text after activating your inclusive extra online @Robot_egg?

No I did not receive any verification link following activating my TNT Sports as an inclusive extra. Should I have? @James

Yes, a verification link should have been sent to complete your set up. 

Are you able to try logging in HERE with your BT ID and come back to let us know what happens?

When I click the link it asks me to confirm my BT Sports account. Once I do so it states that I have already activated my discovery+ account. 

When I proceed to discovery+ from that page and try to access TNT sports it still comes up with a requirement to purchase a pass to access TNT sports content. @Katie_B @James_B .
