I upgraded my sim only contract to the 80gb but I then decided that I wanted to go to the unlimited option of the sim only contract but I just added it on to my up grade account how do I make sure that I get the sim deal I want?

If you added a new SIM on to your account, you now will have 2 SIMs you will have to pay for.
You should have went through the Upgrade process on the same SIM and selected one of the offers there.
If you were getting a cheaper price adding it to your account, this is because of a Multi-line discount for having multiple SIMs on the same account.
You would need to call Customer Services on 150 if this is what has happened and is not what you meant to do.
