Roam Abroad Pass

Hi all,

I'm trying to find more information on the roam abroad pass and the website doesn't really explain how it works properly. So I'm here to ask for help.

I have a monthly contract for the unlimited plan and i have had this for a while now but the plan started after the after 7 July 2021. Now i am going to Portugal soon and wanted to know if i add the roam abroad pass for the £25 considering that i have the unlimited plan (data/min/texts) does that mean i can roam unlimited while in Portugal?

Or is there a sort of budget set in place for the month that i can use? the only thing i found on the website is this:

You'll avoid the £2.47 daily charge if you get our Roam Abroad Pass, which lets you enjoy your plan allowances in 52 countries.

So according to that statement on the website i should have access to my package fully and not have t worry about the cap or an allowance?

@redsparrow98  with the roam  broad pass or paying the daily rate it means you can use your allowance whilst there.   You can only use up to 50Gb of data per month when roaming and that’s the only limit you have.

you also need to make sure that you’re enable roaming on your account by texting ROAMING to 150. The purchasing of add-ons doesn’t enable roaming they only keep costs down. You can do this now as its costs nothing to have roaming enabled on your account.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Roaming within the EU is charged on a flat-rate basis. That "flat-rate" is either £2.47/day or £25/month - for pay-monthly contract users, and allows use of all your UK voice, text & data allowances.

Data subject to an FUP as mentioned - and remember to enable roaming which unlocks access to foreign networks.
