Netflix unable to change plan

how can I change from the basic plan to premium, have tried doing through the netflix app and website and it just changes temporarily and then reverts back to basic after a few mins.   Cannot find anywhere on myEE to make changes to the plan type and Netflix help are directing me back to EE to change plans.

I’ve been disconnected when transferred and disconnected when speaking to an agent… then received a message saying they would phone back and another instantly saying the my couldn’t get through I’m currently in the que again

Netflix told me I should speak to EE. 

Called EE several times and was passed to technical assistance.

They didn't understand anything about upgrading Netflix subscriptions. They had no knowledge of being able to upgrade it at all.

I was finally able to use the EE app to upgrade to Standard from Basic, but still no option to upgrade to Premium which  was what I was on previously when I paid Netflix directly for several years.

Reading the Ts&Cs, it is all down to credit rating - I have a 3 device contract with EE, and an A+ credit rating which they have confirmed, but still I cannot have the same Netflix plan which I had prior to taking this subscription.

Very disappointed with EE - the reason I upgraded my phone was because of the money off my Netflix subscription. I have spent hours on the phone to EE trying to get this resolved with no success.

I will have to cancel this Netflix subscription and revert to paying Netflix directly for premium access.
