No loyalty what’s so ever 25 years plus with orange /ee asked for a new phone as haven’t upgraded in 0ver 5 years and offered a deal worse than the one I’m on and a phone the same  better deal as new customer

If you're on a cheap plan for the last 5 years then you are likely paying less per year than people who have subscribed over the last 12 months. If you dont earn EE money (same as most financial or service products) then you are likely on balance costing them money. As a result your offers will be based upon what you have contributed. 

Plus the service evolves with added services and other removed.
