Free Buds with Galaxy Fold 6

Afternoon All, 

 

I upgraded my phone yesterday (22/07/2204) in store from a Fold 4 to a Fold 6. unfortunately I had to get an early upgrade due to a broken screen and traveling for work, so no time to have the broken one repaired. In order to upgrade early I had to pay £330 which I thought was reasonable due to my contract not being complete until December, but also the free Buds that I was told I could claim. I have looked online and cant find any way to claim this, even though the staff in store said I only need to show proof on purchase i.e receipt on the claims form 🤔.

 

Has anyone else go the same issue and if so what is the best way to claim the Buds ?

I had a txt on the 1st August as well about late delivery due to stock issues but it's only been 18 days out the 15-30 days atm as I got mine on the 19th July, so i'm happy they are keeping me in the loop just come to see if any one had got there's yet or anything 😊

Hi, 

I am slightly concerned on this aswell because I've had no information about the Samsung Buds either. I placed my  order on the 15/07 and now I cant see any mention about the offer however i know it was there when i placed it,

You can still find the original terms of the offer on our website here 

As mentioned earlier in the thread there is a manufacturer delay on the Samsung Buds3 Pro at the moment which has led to the buds not being received within the original 15-30 days timescale. As long as your order meets the criteria of the terms of the offer you should receive them to your EE account address once the delay is resolved. 

If you have not received any communication at all about them via text or to double check your order it would be best to give our team on 150 a call who would be happy to check and confirm.

I've phoned 150 and they had no idea what I was talking about. They didn't know about the promotion, about receiving the buds pro 3 with the phone. They said they had nothing on their system to even see the old promotion. I was told to wait for the 30 days to see if the buds would turn up. I haven't even had a text to say they are delayed like some customers have. But I was offered £30. Insult. This company are a absolute disgrace. All you've done is take money from customers, sign them into new contracts after promising a product and once the paperwork is signed all you've done is fob your loyal customers off. Instead why doesn't the company send a message to all customer who have the z fold 6 and got the phone in the promotional period, explaining what is going on and an apology for messing us all about. Instead of the **bleep** you've been replying so far. 

And the company should go in front of the ombudsman for false advertising and miss-selling products.

I am sorry that has been your experience when calling 150, I can understand being frustrated. This is a valid promotion and as long as you do meet the eligibility criteria in the terms linked in my previous post, we will be fulfilling orders once the manufacturer delay is resolved. And once dispatched you will get a text from us and then one from DPD.

Is there an ETA for these buds since the initial delay? Had the text like many others on the 1st of August but nothing since?

We don't have any further update at present, but if you've received the text about the initial delay already, you'll be kept up to date by text when there is more on when they'll be on the way.

I pre-ordered and received my fold 6 on 17 July. I am yet to receive my free bud pro 3 after 6 weeks. I contacted ee today and spoke to someone who after and hour and 15 mins, being put on hold 4 times was told to contact samsung direct. When I told him I wasn't happy and requested to speak to a supervisor he hung up on me!!! Shocking service

I had a  look at Samsungs website for the Galaxy Pro Buds 3 and they are taking orders but it says "Order now to receive from 20 Sept 2024" 

So it looks like we are going to wait at least another month.
