EE roaming pass

Hi, I’m going to Canada 10-20th October and have just added the £25 roaming pass which it says it’s valid for a month, is that a calendar month from when I activated it or until my next billing month? Because my next bill is 15th October, so will it be another £25 when my bill is produced? Meaning it would cost me £50 for the 10 days??

@a_ukboy : It's charged by billing month but you'll only be charged pro-rata for the 1st month. So about £29 for the 11 days.

The Roam Abroad Pass costs £25 per billing month from the billing month you order it (text ROAMING PASS to 150) until the billing month you cancel it (text STOP ROAMING PASS to 150). For all billing months during which you have the Pass it is charged at the full £25. However if the Pass is carried over from the 1st billing month to the next it will be charged pro-rata for that 1st month alone.

As you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.

Thank you, that makes sense.. I activated it today but don’t travel till Thursday, just wanted to make sure it was active by the time I go.. when I get back I’ll switch it off
