Credit unable to be used to purchase bundle?

How disappointing that I loaded credits with this service specifically so I could call internationally for my job search and now it appears my credits will be wiped out without this knowledge when purchased!  How nasty and ugly of this company! I would never use them again!!! Additionally I have credits and it appears that I can not use to purchase a new bundle!  What a scam company all when I’m in the middle of a job search!  I am very angry about this and plan on voicing my experience on several review platforms. When I purchased credits for international calling prior to spending my money they did not divulge my credits would be wiped out in 30 days!  Further there is absolutely NO SERVICE HELP!  Scam of a company!!!!!  This represents an enormous loss to me! I am angry at the lack of communication by them.

Hi @FrustratedEE1

Which bundle did you buy.

Calling abroad is limited and packs limited to 30 days.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone. You can call Freephone +44 800 079 8586 on Skype

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

I purchased a £15 bundle fo local service, but then purchased a credit of £30 so I could call the EU for my job search. Absolutely heart sick as I wasn’t previously advised previously prior to purchasing credits

There is no real customer service only a recorded line; rubbish!

Good afternoon @FrustratedEE1, thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community.

Different packs offer different features, but the last thing we would want is for you to feel that you've not got your money's worth from this.

When you purchase a fixed pack with your credit, this will give you allowances for a 30 day period, and if you have enough credit it should automatically renew once this comes to an end.

If you don't have enough credit though, any calls you make at the end of this will be taken out of the remaining credit on the account, and the same would happen if you make calls to a number outside of your pack allowance.

We don't have access to your account here to say what exactly has happened, but if you can get in touch with our team they'll absolutely be able to check over this for you.

It's a fixed charge of 25p to speak with customer services, regardless of call length, so provided you have enough remaining you should be able to call us on 150 from your EE mobile, then follow the automated options to speak with our team.

Peter

I have plenty of credit to renew my £15 bundle! As there is a credit of around £28 sitting there. So do I understand you to state it will automatically renew due to sufficient credits?
I tried to call your aforementioned customer service line and no live help was offer dispute my looping around in all circle trees 4 times in desperation. Please understand that I am in the middle of communication with EU for job search so I could loose a position because of this glitch!  Why is it fair that it is so difficult to get basic services?  Tomorrow my service drops off????!  Please help!  I need to get out of this freezing cold in the Uk; I need warmth and SUN !  Thank you!

I can appreciate why you want to get this sorted so urgently @FrustratedEE1.

If you want a new pack to kick in right away, can you please try sending us a text with NOW to 150?

You can also select a new pack by sending ALL PACKS to 150 and it will give you a breakdown of everything available.

Peter

Third Para down, WHEN I purchase a bundle with my credits…… that’s my point that is not an option on the automated system!!!! Please advise on HOW this task could be completed! TY

Just so I can be clear on what's happening here, am I correct in thinking you have a £15 pack active right now, and are worried at what will happen when this expires?

If you send BALANCE to 150, does it confirm how much you have left?

If you haven't already it's worth setting up an online account so you can manage your details online too.

Peter

Wow that was easy and quick it’s too bad the automated VM doesn’t state this!  I have 12£ remaining can I buy international text or voice plans because I believe the credit will be lost?

what I read and hear it appeared credits would disappear it would be best if you improved your communication.
