Cannot Activate TNT Sports

Hi,

I have tried activating my TNT sports account as my inclusive extra but I am receiving a "Technical Difficulties" error when I enter my mobile number and the PIN code sent to my mobile.

I have tried both using my mobile and a laptop browser to no avail. Can't ring customer support as there is always a 45 min - 1 hour wait time to not get a response anyway. I was previously a BT sports subscription holder as my inclusive extra with my previous contract but also receive an error when trying to activate an EE subscription through the TNT sports website.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated 👍

Hi @Navaho1206 

Could you try it when connected to the mobile network, rather than WiFi? Please also make sure, if you have a VPN, that it isn't active when setting up.

So - I logged in via chrome on my laptop and was able to activate the subscription. Thank you for your help.

I was trying this via my iPhone and the same thing was happening.  I turned off Private Relay (see settings) and it all worked.  Private Relay is similar to a VPN.  Also turn off any VPN you have and WiFi and cross your fingers!

I had this issue. Tried via no VPN and not on WIFI still didn’t work. I then realised Apple has private relay (this is like a built in VPN) deactivated this while activating and work straight away with no issues

hi I have the same issue as all of you getting the same error and total lack of help to resolve it!

 

Thanks for replying . I rectified the problem. I had TNT in my name and sky in husbands. So to solve the problem I had to have a change of email so they both have the same. Worked for me hope it can help others Sent from my Galaxy

I am having the same issue. 3 weeks ago I took out an ew contract and added TNT sports (I was previously with BT sports over 5yrs ago.)

I am getting the same error message - technical problems. I have been in contact with technical support and they tell me they have an issue but its been 3 weeks. 

I have tried removing VPN and connecting without wifi, but still no joy.

This problem was same as those experiencing last year so what's going on?
