Very misleading promotion and disappointed with EE to be running such thing.

Got told if we upgraded our 2 phones we could claim 2 free Chromebooks but at no point did we get told there was a limited amount. Waited the 14 days but then wouldn't let me claim saying the time wasn't up, next day try and claim only to be told promotion has closed due to all the Chromebooks being rewarded.

This feels like I have been mis-sold a phone as I probably wouldn't of upgraded to a Google as I normally have Samsung phones and claimed many free items with Samsung with no issues.

I feel like this promotion is to get you to buy a Google phone with the promise of a free Chromebook.

Extremely disappointed especially as I have 4 phones with EE and just moved my broadband over to them.

@joedsa   EE will remove the promotion once it’s reached its term or if Google requests so.   It’s not EEs promotion to terminate early.    Not sure why you’re disappointed with EE.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I've waited the 14 days but it now won't let me claim? This is the only reason I purchased the phone as it was a bundle!!! Can you advise please?

Hi

I purchased two devices but the one I'm talking about is the Google pixel 10 pro. No I've not bothered raising a complaint

Rubbish to say the least my argument is EE had this up when the product had run out they must have known the numbers that had applied to the offer knowing some people wouldn't be honoured with said offer

Same here in regards to the broadband i pay between phones and broadband about £160 a month I'm sure other networks would take our business

This is a complete scam and EE are tricking people to upgrade with them. They say you are eligible for these free gifts but what they hide in the SMALL print and don't tell you is that there are only so many freebies available. Once they are gone you can't claim even if your eligible. Not only do they hide this in the small print but they make you wait 14 days to find out there is none left so you can't even cancel your upgrade. Unbelievable.

How can EE be trolling? It's a google promotion subject to t&c's with them so take it up with google. Also the 14 days are understandable to make sure phone not returned etc

Also "the small print" is clear in the middle of the google pages & not buried away at all!

I am taking it up with Google as well. My 58 year old dad went into an EE store to upgrade and the staff that dealt with him did not advice that the "rewards" were limited to a certain number of people. As they were promoting the offer on behalf of Google it's on them as well as Google. It might be clear to you and myself when looking on the Google claim page but this page isn't presented in store or online when upgrading with EE. IMO it's purposely misleading.

Hi,

Is there anything that can be done? As I can't claim the Chromebook?

Surely EE can help there customers

There will be zero help, nothing is left and staff members will continue to sell phones based on dodgy promotions from third party suppliers.

Learn the lesson that EE are the same as everybody else, they don't care about you. @Chris_B will tell you all about it soon.
