Apple Music family plan

I have just upgraded my Samsung Phone today. Whilst on the phone to EE i was offered an addon. The EE agent explained that i could choose Apple Music and also that I can have Apple Music Family plan for a very small fee. I did not choose one at the current time. I have rang back twice and spoke to different Agents. I am now being told that I have to go through Apple directly. If I do this will I lose my addon discount? Please help me.

Sorry, it isn't possible to use the EE Apple Music inclusive extra in conjunction with a family plan.

I have had the same issue and was told by the agent that I could also upgrade for a small fee to family music package and I was told this with in the last month. Has this changed recently as this was only last month a EE direct sales rather than a 3rd party. This was one of the reasons I renewed my package and also add broadband. Has this changed to allow this recently or are the agents not getting the correct information when selling the packages

@Artful1   EE don’t offer the ability to add or pay extra to have an Apple Music family plan.   EE only offers the individual subscription to Apple Music

Hi Chris

thanks for the update. Why are the agents saying this is possible then? I upgraded my package and added broadband for this reason as advised by the EE agent

@Artful1   They shouldn’t be.  To my knowledge only Netflix can be upgraded in this way.
