Hi.

I’ve just requested 6 months free of Apple Arcade through the EE app. I have then received a message from EE with a link to activate on the App Store but when I click the link it says it cannot connect to the App Store.

Is there anyone who can help me please?

thanks

Hi, I found another solution online that worked from another user who had same problem. It involves changing the incorrect link string sent by EE that doesn’t work. You have to change the word ‘NULL’ in the link to ‘&id=‘Once I had done that all went through fine. ThanksKeith

Hi @gavinprice02

Thanks for coming here.

Are you using mobile data or connected to WiFi?

Can you access the App store on your device?

Leanne 🙂

Hi

I’ve tried both on WiFi and on cellular data. I can access the App Store normally through the app but when I click the link in the text from EE it just says can’t connect.

kind regards.

Thanks @gavinprice02

Can you try and open the link in a different web browser, does the same happen?

Leanne.

Hi

I've tried in Chrome and it comes up with this

But my iOS is up to date on 17.4.1 and when I try Firefox it comes up with the same can’t connect message

Hi @Kingarthur64

Thanks for coming to our community.

Have you also tried the link in other browsers to see if it makes a difference?
