My phone does not receive picture messages. I have been receiving messages, apparently from EEMS, inviting me to use a dodgy link to access a picture message. The number the picture message supposedly comes from is always one of my contacts who has recently text messaged me. The link begins with http:// which is unsafe.
Any ideas why or how this is happening?

@Topaz99 : These are valid texts from EE when you are being sent an MMS & your phone is not set up for them. For most phones, you can download the MMS settings needed from the online set up tool , so you can receive MMS directly w/out being directed to EE's d/load site.

Thank you. I just used the link successfully. However, I was alarmed by the http:// prefix - the lack of an 's' implies an insecure site. I have ignored many other MMS in the past because of this, and unfortunately they are not saved, so are now lost forever!

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & trust it is now sorted.
Which link did you use? By using my "tool" link you never need to go to the download site again.
