I took out a new contract, but opted out of the new “spam blocker” as I’d never really needed it. But since my new contract started I’m being inundated by spam calls and messages. Almost like someone knew I didn’t pay the extra charges 🙄 Was this system always in use but is now chargeable? Seems very suspicious that I’m now more “visible” than ever….

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've been having since taking out your plan, as this is never what we'd expect to hear. Did you take out a new number with us, or port your number from elsewhere?

Same number, just upgrade. I’ve been with EE since Orange many moons ago…. Just very strange timing for so many nuisance calls and messages

@P5ymon Just registered with the TPS service HERE it takes around 30 days for this to take effect and if anyone does call just say you’re registered with the TPS service.
You can also report SPAM calls and texts by texting CALL ( for a call ) to 7726 and then forwarding that number when prompted or if it’s a text forward that text to 7726 then the number when prompted.
