@taff1605  All sims work abroad you might need to purchase add ons so you can use an allowance while there.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@taff1605 : To give you some idea of what it'll cost there, you will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/usa .

Hi Chris,
yes, know they work abroad, just want to avoid extra ee charges, so was thinking of getting a card before or when there,(specifically for america use) as might want to use data roaming, for sat nav purposes.
cheers, for the reply.
Thanks for the reply
am looking for a pre paid sim card l can just use in usa re data for sat nav purposes, to avoid additional ee charges.
thougt it might work out cheaper.

Cheaper than what? It'll cost you £7/day for 100MB data to use an EE PAYG SIM in USA.

You may find it cheaper to get a local SIM on Verizon or AT&T/T-Mobile

do you think that would be enough for daily sat nav use, running google maps?
not using phone for anything else.
that was what l was thinking.
its just, would they be compatible with my phone, as locked to ee

100MB ain't much! Perhaps in small bursts.
