Not while you are in UK or EU. You pay to make them.

Does it not matter what kind of contract I have?

Hi @Parfa
Welcome to the community.
What @XRaySpeX is spot on when you have a monthly contract with us.
Do you have a contract or are you on a pay as you go?
You can find a load of information about this on our Roaming On EE page.
Thanks
Chris

By means of reinforcing the general advice, I'll add that receiving calls in the UK & EU is free. Where the incoming call is from, is immaterial.
You will only be charged for receiving calls if you are roaming in a non-4G country.

No, you can be on any contract or PAYG & what I said holds.

What if I am SIM only (monthly) in Dubai with Roam Further enabled? Still free to receive calls from UK? Local calls included in allowance and calls to UK from Dubai included too?

@Hoffmeister : No, the Roam Further Pass is not valid there. As the United Arab Emirates is not in EU, you cannot use your usual UK allowances there but will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/united-arab-emirates .
