Receiving calls while abroad

I am in Pakistan for a few months. I am a pay monthly customer and am receiving many calls. Will it cost to answer them as I have been if ignoring them up until now in fear of extra charges?

If so, what are the charges for answering calls made from the UK to my number whilst being in Pakistan?

@Theonlyaliii : Yes, it'll cost you to receive calls but not texts. As it is not in EU, you cannot use your usual UK allowances there but will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/pakistan .

Hi @Theonlyaliii ,

A heads up that you should double check the country page for the full advice.

In particular, apparently you will be charged just for receiving voicemail so the official recommendation is to deactivate voicemail before going abroad. You may wish to contact EE from Abroad to arrange this.
