Hi.
I keep getting a message every few days which says:
"Can't download MMS
Check your APN settings and then tap to retry"
I'm on a Pixel 6 - Android 13 - and have never had an issue with APN settings before; MMS hasn't been an issue. Also, the only online service I'm aware of to read my MMS from a PC browser is asking for "...the password we sent you via SMS". Which you didn't. Don't think my APN settings are wrong because you sent them to me when I inserted my SIM.
Can anyone provide a hint as to how I fix this? Can my APN settings be re-sent? BTW I am using an e-SIM for O2 alongside my EE physical SIM but all the defaults on this are set to EE so it should not be using O2.

Oops - I'm on a Pay Monthly contract.

Hi there @Stonelaughter
Thanks for coming here.
You can view the settings from the EE Setup online, please select your device from the dropdown and follow the instructions.
Let me know if this works for you.
Leanne.

Nope - all the settings are correct. Also - it won't let me edit them since they were automatically supplied on SIM insertion... so since EE supplied them, I would HOPE they are correct???

Thanks @Stonelaughter
Have you received any picture messages since you joined?
Or, do you get sent to view this online each time?
Leanne.

I have been with EE some 6 years now - safe to say I have received some MMS lol.
It's not "Sending me online" to read it - it's just telling me it couldn't download it. See the error message above. No useful info in the message - it just fails and spontaneously pops up this message.

It just started popping up a few days ago... I assume it's a single message waiting but I've no idea - as there's no info about the actual message in the error.

Thanks @Stonelaughter
Has this been sent from one of your contacts?
Is the message is unable to download, can they try sending this again?
Leanne.

I don't think you're listening.
1. This error (above) started spontaneously appearing on my phone a few days ago.
2. The error contains zero information about any MMS message - like where the message came from, what is in it, where I can go to get it, when it was sent, or by whom. It just says it can't download MMS.
3. I have no clue who may have sent it to me since they have not otherwise contacted me.
Your move?
