trying to contact customer service is like trying to win the lottery jackpot 3 weeks in a row.

having recieved a text saying some crap about fiddling with the network

saying i would  need to connect to wifi to use my mobile.

i cannot get any service and cannot send or recieve texts

i cannot call out or recieve calls or listen to missed calls

this is absolutely unacceptable what am i paying for and how cheeky of EE to think

this is ok.and as im without a landl.ine as i couldnt get one i my area im screwed

Sounds like you've been notified via the MyPlaces facility, of a planned outage in your area and suggested the option of WiFi-calling to mitigate for this.

You're using a broadband connection to post on this forum, so it follows that you very likely have a WiFi router that you can connect your phone to. Enable WiFi-calling on your phone, and you can continue to have full EE service regardless of mobile coverage.

im using my laptop

my mobile cannot do bugger all

that i need to i need to be able ring a friend and send and reciev e texts

rthis is a waste of my time reading .thanks for nothing.

Connect your phone to your WiFi network, and enable WiFi-calling in the phone's menu system.

You will then be able to use your phone as normal.
