WiFi calling stopped - 4G Smart Hub

We use a 4G smart hub due to poor broadband connectivity. We also have O2 iPhones which we have used successfully for 9 months with the hub to make WiFi calls (no o2 mobile signal here).

Last week, we could no longer access WiFi calling. Same for both handsets. Reset router to factory but no different. If we access other routers we immediately can access WiFi calling again, so the handsets work but no longer with this router.

Before anyone says … it worked so WiFi calling can be accessed via the 4G smart hub router. Phones work on other routers so not the phone or their settings. Routers has been reset. Router has not been adjusted or moved. We can still fully access the internet but cannot switch to WiFi calling anymore.

Can anyone help beyond the usual generic responses (reset router; switch phone to airplane mode; turn off and on WiFi calling on the phone etc). Thank you for any insight as we desperately need phone access via WiFi calling.

Whose WiFi-calling are you trying to use? O2's or EE's?

Good evening @Jacronin67.

Thanks for stopping by the EE Community!

Which model of 4G Hub are you using at the moment?

Also is this providing a good connection otherwise, and have you noticed any software updates to the handsets recently?
Peter

O2 WiFi calling (phones are using o2 sims) through the the EE 4G router

HH10E 4G Smart hub. Connection to mast is excellent 4G and 5 bars and no issues connecting to the router or accessing the internet. Downloads and uploads speeds all fine. Just no WiFi calling anymore.

Both phones have not had updates prior to of since the problem started. Phones allow WiFi calling access on other routers - just stopped calling a sudden on this one.

Thanks for confirming those details for us @Jacronin67.

If you haven't already, can you please connect to the Hub Manager on https://192.168.1.1/, and see if there are any updates available for this?

You can also check the network mode for this as well.

Peter

No updates - all showing as up to date.
Network mode is set to auto

Thanks for checking those things @Jacronin67

Does it make a difference how close you are to the router?
