Hello there

I have no messages on voicemail but push the alert for me. It happened on Galaxy S20 first.

I put the sim to Iphone 14 pro and the red badge is permanently there.

THe VM OFF uneffective, because I can call the VM. It is a scam and we expect the EE fix it ASAP.

Hi @JackMack1

Try leaving a voicemail from another phone, listen to it fully, then delete it.

Restart your phone then hopefully, it's gone.

What do you mean by "push the alert for me"?

Try calling yourself from another phone, and leaving a voicemail. Then call your voicemail from your phone and delete the voicemail. Does your voicemail notification clear?

Great stuff, thanks for letting me know, @JackMack1. 🙂

Glad it worked.

Hello, I hope I can still piggy back on this message: I have two voicemail alerts, top left of my Samsung A53, next to the clock. Pull down the alerts, and two banners are there - phone services, new voicemail, recent time, EE. I have two SIMs in my phone, and this only appears for the EE SIM.

I have called my voicemail, and there it says there are no messages.

I am currently abroad, and for some reason cannot call the voicemail number to see if there are old messsages that need deleting.

I wonder if it is a phone issue, or an EE issue?

Hi, this solution does not work for me - I cannot switch off any voicemail alerts.

Even though I have called my voicemail, and I don't have any messages, I still have two alerts top left on my Samsung A53.

I'm wondering if this is a Samsung issue, or a EE issue?

This is what worked for me :

Ring your phone from another one and leave a voicemail message.
Listen to it on your phone and then delete it (#3)
Restart your phone.

Yours may be a different issue, but may be worth a try

Best wishes
J
