Hello, we have just got my daughter her first phone and decided on an EE 'Safer SIM' for greater levels of control over her usage. However on downloading Whats App for her to keep in touch with family, it has been blocked three times in the last 4 days. Is this because her account is a Safer SIM? Is there anything I can do about this or will it just need to be that we buy a normal SIM code and apply the security levels on the phone ourselves? It is very frustrating having to constantly send the review message to Whats App and wait up to 24 hours for it to be reinstated.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

@freo18 It has nothing to do with using a safer sim, if What’s app are blocking the usage that’s down to what’s app not EE. What’s app don’t know the type of sim that is being used.

EE provide your daughter's phone with a mobile internet connection, if that's working and she can connect to internet-based services and apps, EE's part is done.
If your daughter is having issues within the WhatsApp/Meta system, then that's a WA issue not an EE one.
At best you can try connecting via WiFi rather than the mobile network - taking EE out of the process for elimination purposes - and see if the same thing happens.

Hi @freo18
I believe the minimum age to register is 13 on WhatsApp so if she is registered at that age or on one of meta other sites (Instagram, Facebook, Facebook messenger) as another age then it maybe cross-reference.
Thanks
