Unable to send text messages to access Roam EU

Hi this happened to me twice.

Whenever I have been Europe, I want to text “ROAMEU7D” but fail to send. What can I do?

Making or receiving calls, sending or receiving text messages, using mobile data - all of these need a mobile network connection. Doing so abroad is called roaming.

Does your phone show a connection to a local network in your host country? And if not, are you on PAYG or pay-monthly?

Did you receive a msg upon arrival telling you about the charges for roaming in EU on PAYG?
