Travelling to Turkey

I'm travelling to Turkey soon and want to use my phone camera and the hotel wifi without being charged for.  What's the best way to do this?  Remove my sim card when I arrive?  Thanks

Roaming charges will be incurred when you make or receive any voice calls, send any text messages or use mobile data - all of which use the mobile network.

WiFi is just a connection your mobile device (laptop, tablet, phone) and broadband router. Flight mode prevents access to any mobile network.
