Hello I hope someone can help me, I'm travelling to new York for 16 days and understand that when I land I will be sent a text asking me if I want to pay £5 for a daily pass or £25 for 7 days, my questions is wjat happens when my 7 days is over? Will I receive a text to add on more days or so I have to do it myself? I'm worried about being charged extra as its already so much more expensive thank it uses to be, a few months ago it was just £25 for a month.

Voice calls & text messages will continue to function, on a pay-per-call or pay-per-text basis, mobile data will cease working until you purchase another add-on.

When your 7day pass expires, you can choose another daily or weekly pass, and if you do so - continue on the same basis

Whatever you decide, remember to ensure your free roaming facility is enabled - to ensure coverage abroad. Text ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK.

When your roaming pass is up after 1 or 7 days respectively, you will receive a text offering them again. Only if you don't take them up will calls & text will continue to function on a per-unit basis but mobile data will cease working.
