Travelling to Egypt

I am going to Egypt on the 3rd September for 2 weeks and I want to be able to use my phone over there like I would at home. I am a pay as you go customer. Is there any data packs or one off packages I can purchase please? Or how do I go about getting data in Egypt? I have tried texting DATAROAMING to 150 and it just says sorry we are unable to complete your request. Can someone please help?

@Leahcloughy1997 : You can't use an EE SIM like you would at home outside the EU.

Outside the EU, you cannot use your usual UK allowances there but will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/egypt > PAYG.

As you are on PAYG, make sure you have already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.
