No and I can’t get details of what this is for. EE is very unhelpful when yo7 need answers, like “ can I have details of the text I was supposed to have sent ……..” there’s no picture message anywhere, just an extra charge of 83p. I normally pay £40.09 each month but this month I get a bill for £40.82 for something I’d never heard of until I got the charge! Really fed up with EE and I’m stuck with them now.

We don't keep copies of texts or picture messages you send from your device @Liv54

If you would like the charge looked into, please call us on 150.

Ok but EE surely keep copies of the emails they purport to send on the first day that I have never had. As I’ve have said, neither have I had one at the end I am not prepared to pay for something I knew nothing about until I got the bill yesterday. It might only be an extra 83p but it’s the principle like it usually is with them. Last month I raised the issue of them just telling me the amount then download the bill and then saying it’s paid. It wasn’t they can’t pay anything unless they are merely using my bank details without authority. I do not pay by DD I pay by the due date, 13th of the month with my card EE do not have the right to just use them. It can be marked as paid once I get a receipt via email.

83p is not the standard charge for a text message, so something's awry here.

Feel free to post up a copy of the bill with identifiable & personal details redacted, I would be interested to see this 83p charge - I suspect there may be a simple explanation for this.

On the specifics of messages converted to MMS, Android phones give an onscreen indication when this happens - to enable the user to make a choice. I should imagine Apple is the same.

Sent messages converted to picture messages……. apparently

That's your doing by putting emoticons/emojis or attachments in your textual texts. It's converted by your phone not by EE. However your phone should warning you it is doing this & allow you to abort.
