Please I need to speak with someone, I am desperate!!!! I cannot receive texts from companies, Universal Credit, one time codes text!!!!! I have very recently joined EE and I also had troubles with this web recognising my number, the 150 system tells me there is an ERROR!!! 
I need help!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your problem. What do you mean about the 150 system telling you there's an error? Have you managed to speak to someone on our Mobile Care team?

In addition, can you receive text messages from other senders?

Have you ported your number in, or do you have a native EE number?
