Texting ALL to 150 to find out how much data i've got left has not been working for a few weeks. I just get a text back saying sorry this seervice is temporarily unavailable
Does anyone know why this is??

The commands do differ slightly between PAYG & pay-monthly, and you've not said which you are.
Texting AL is a shortcode for BALANCE. ALL is an incorrect code.

I am on a pay monthly contract and have been texting ALL to 150 to get my allowance details for years, it only stopped working at the end of July. I've just tried texting BAL and then BALANCE to 150 and got the same reply - sorry this service is temporarily unavailable.
Any ideas anyone??

Neither ALL nor BAL are commands.
The word to text is BALANCE by itself. Texting a good command immediately after a bad one may confuse the automation.

Thanks for your reply.
I text HELP to 150 and got the response of a list of words i could text to 150.
So i have then text BALANCE to 150, but got the "sorry this service is temporarily unavailable" reply, whcih is the reply i've been getting for roughly the last 3 weeks.
Any Ideas?

@GoG7 Thanks for trying this out and getting back to me.
Are you able to view your allowances through the EE app? This would help determine if the issue is with the text service for you or an overall issue.
It would be worth giving our Customer Care team a call on 150 (follow option 2) and select the option for technical queries.
On a side point- how often do you switch your device off and back on?
This can sometimes reset the allowance information updates.

I'm a pay monthly contract customer.
All other calls and texts are ok, its just been the last month or so when i text 150 to get my remaining allowance details i have started receiving a message back saying service temporarily unavailable. i used to use this service to get a quick text back to see how much data i had left as i don't have a very big data allowance so it was useful to keep a check on that.
