Any ideas?
CS says it is enabled. I've tried everything (resetting phone, etc) they have suggested and they are out of ideas.
I get good signal with "3G" shown.

What is the issue you're having? Data roaming is a phone setting that allows use of mobile data whilst connected to foreign networks.
Of more importance is that roaming is enabled on your SIM to allow access to foreign networks.
Does your phone show a connection to any Spanish networks? Did you receive a welcome text on arrival? Can you make & receive calls OK?

There is no Internet. It says Internet is disconnected.
How do I tell if it's connected to a Spanish network? I'm connected to Yoigo, which is a Spanish network I believe.
I did receive a welcome text. I think I can make and receive calls. But someone tried calling me once and I didn't receieve it so maybe not.

EE was a mistake. My entire trip that I've spent $8K on is ruined. I have no means to acquire a prepaid SIM card.
Go with Vodafone/O2 people.

@sujrt6y , you say there is no internet and it is disconnected. Are you on contract with EE? If so did you make sure that roaming is enabled before going abroad?
If pay as you go, did you use your SIM card before going abroad?
You could have rang customer service for free using something like Skype, there is a free number, this is not EE’s fault, and not always easy to find the reason why you are having problems.
I and many others have not had problems roaming abroad using the phone. Have you tried doing a manual search to see if you can find a network you can connect to.
Resetting the phone, same as rebooting can solve the problem, same as doing a manual search for a network.
Was your phone and SIM card working in the UK?
Why have you spent $8K and why is it ruined, that sounds like an awful lot of money for going to Spain.

Yes. Yes.
> rang customer service
Per my post, I have rang them multiple times. They read from a script and said they can't do anything.
> Resetting the phone, same as rebooting can solve the problem, same as doing a manual search for a network.
All tried, per my post.
> Was your phone and SIM card working in the UK?
Yes

Searching this forum, it's clear that this is a common issue. There are so many unresolved topics about this. EE simply does not work in Spain.
Such misleading advertisement is fraud and should be illegal.

Are the symptoms identical across all 4 Spanish networks? You've not said.
The nature of support fora is that people tend not to post reporting good service or that their issue is resolved - that doesn't mean that EE's roaming services don't work in the country.

@sujrt6y , it does work in Spain, as across Europe, it usually is that people do not do a manual search, have not enabled roaming on their account, before going abroad.
I have been to Germany, Switzerland, Egypt and Las Vegas, and it works without any problems, and I have been with EE, previously Orange since 1995.
EE will have to look at a script, probably, to try and help, but can only help so far, especially when the person is in another country, the same as we can only suggest things here, not sure why you are still having problems.
You could have used Skype to speak for free with customer service, then it would not have cost anything, so long as you have wifi.
Not sure why you are claiming such misleading advertisement, which you see as fraud and illegal, as roaming does work, and doing a manual search should enable you to find a network that works.
