I get daily spam texts from names like ‘Sara’ advertising gambling services amongst others. I can’t report them to 7726 because there is no number attached, just the name.
How can I stop this? I don’t want to mute them because they still come up at the top of my inbox constantly.

@demonsblood1 SMS from a no-number sender can still be investigated if you forward it to the National Spam Reporting Service on 7726.
All networks around the world allow messages to be received from senders that use names rather than numbers. However, the sender must abide by laws an regulations.
These are sent through specialist services, which will have their own Anti-Spam terms for the users. This is why it's important that any messages which may be unsolicited or nuisance are reported so it can be identified and followed up.

Same here. About time EE sorted out an option to mark spam sms messages by using keyword filtering. I tried all the reporting options and NADA. EE are facilitating this crap and are of no help whatsoever.
Some of us use our phones for business use so changing numbers is NOT an option.
I have been to EE stores and also spoke on the phone and no-one has had a scooby doo what to do other than "Buy an App" for gods sakes
EE get a grip on this issue as there are thousands of folks affected by this rubbish.
