Saved Voicemail – Access Method

Ivor_The-Great_

When I Save a Voicemail how can they be retrieved. Simply put  is there a keypad option to listen to saved voicemails  (ie an area dedicated solely for saved voicemail) or is the save option merely a flag to keep it avaible for 7 days  – which seems a pointless exercise as the standard time voicemails are held when not saved is 21 days. A dedicated saved option store would obviously also need the ability to delete voicemail marked or held as saved. Or  does the save option simply alert you to saved voicemails that are then played back after the new. Just seems there is no clarity anywhere on how "saved voicemails" can be accessed and managed separately.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Ivor_The-Great_ ,

Thanks for joining the EE Community 🙂

To confirm there is not a separate function/mailbox for saved voicemails. You would just access voicemail the normal way and then you will be notified of any new messages and any saved messages and follow the prompts to access them.

Once you have listened to a message you will then be presented with the further options such as option 1 to listen again, option 2 to save and option 3 to delete etc

A voicemail message you have not listened to is stored 21 days before being deleted, once you have listened to a message you have the option to save for 7 days or delete straightaway.

If you are an iPhone user you can activate visual voicemail which does work differently than the traditional voicemail and will allow you to manage your mailbox differently. Visual Voicemail | Mobile Help | EE
