SMS not received while I'm roaming in India

Hi  I'm using Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I travelled yesterday to India and before travelling did the following things

 - Voice Mail Switched Off

 - Enabled ROAMING

 - Enabled add ons - 'Roam Further', '30 mins from anywhere',''100 global roaming texts'

After all this and getting annoyed with trying different mobile settings, I'm still unable to receive any SMS delivered to my UK phone number. I also read a comment in the community that it is absolutely free to receive any SMS delivered while roaming anywhere. 

I need the SMS delivered to my UK number while in India, because any financial transaction I do, my Indian bank sends a OTP (one time password) to my UK number. Now I'm stuck and frustrated. Can some one please HELP?

Hello @vidhyadharan 

The text from your Indian bank has the added complication of being Indian-sourced regardless of roaming, have you been able to receive from them previously?

Have you tried manually selecting an alternative network in India, and see if your lack of received-texts affects more than one operator?

Hi - Thanks for the response. Yes, it worked when I was in UK and there were no hiccups.

I connected to the available networks (atleast 3) manually (ones that allowed me to connect) and the SMS from Indian banks were still not received 😞

Ahhhhh...MAGIC - It started working just now and I have started receiving messages (SMS) from my bank. My network provider search is still 'Auto' (similar to how it was most of the day) and it started working few mins ago...:-)
