Hi. We have 2 iphones on my account. All of a sudden, both mobiles cannot receive any SMS messages if they are from a sender name. For example, if the come from a number, they come through fine, but if the sender is a name i.e. -EE- with a verification code, neither of us receives these any more. We can't use my bank card because the bank sends a code from NATWEST instead of from a number.
I cannot find any settings that could possibly cause this. I am hoping someone has an idea? Thanks

There won't be such a setting. SMS from nos. & from names are treated equally.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

I suspect you have an issue with automated/bulk SMS rather than the "from" line. You may well end up contacting CS to report this as a fault, follow their technical escalation process which can culminate in a fault ticket being raised. Things to check first...
Is this a recent problem, when did it start? Do you have a ported-in number, or native-EE issued? When was the last time you switched your phone off/used flight mode for >10 minutes?

Thanks for your reply, but clearly this isn't the case. Seeing as we are receiving all SMS from numbers and Zero SMS from names, including EE sending verification codes. Thanks though

Thanks buddy. Will contact support. Been going on for 2 weeks. EE native numbers. Phones been switched off in the past week.
