My Apple Watch (cellular ) is on a paired contract with my phone. When in Europe will I get two daily charges (Phone and Watch) or will it just be my phone charged daily?? Thanks

@leestephens1088   The watch will not work with cellular when roaming it’s for UK usage only.    The watch has its own contract and has not todo with your iPhone contract.  Your watch will still connect to the iPhone via Bluetooth.   There is no roaming add on for the watch

WHEN is EE going to support roaming on Apple Watch?  Don’t tell me I need my phone. Tell me WHEN you’re going to support the Apple Watch feature which other mobile companies have supported for months.

This is wrong. Roaming is supported on Apple Watches. It is EE which is refusing to enable the function for customers.

@vancouverbrit   Any device that has a sim can roam but the network has to support that service when roaming.      Incase you didn’t read all the information that apple provides it does state this.    So regardless of what the watch can do it doesn’t mean it has to have this feature.      Just like a number of countries don’t not have FaceTime on the iPhone.

Thanks but not an answer. I’m asking when EE will enable the service.

@vancouverbrit   There is no set date to when this will happen that I’m aware of .  When/if  EE are ready they will announce it and you’ll  not get a heads up on when this might be so until they do that’s if they do you’ll have to wait,  there is no point in asking for a date as you’ll not get one.

Almost a year ago when the Ultra was released I asked this question and was told EE would support it and to watch for announcements.

No announcement ever came.

The lack of communication and slow development of updates is why I am now winding down my own  personal 7 EE lines, and my 20 EE business lines with a view to moving to another network.

@DOnChocolat  as stated EE haven’t given a date on when this might happen so why are you expecting anything about it because it’s now almost 1 year since you got a smart watch.

Who did you ask about this when you purchased the watch ?   No one within customer services would have had any knowledge on this unless it was about to happen.

To be fair, we are in the dark ages here. Come on EE!
