Roaming whist in Australia

JB1070
Visitor

We are going to Australia for 7 weeks .

If I buy international roaming  at £25 per month and additional data ie 5 Mb at £13.02 per month.  Will the additional data work in Australia like my existing data allowance?   Also if I cancel the addons mid month do I have to pay for the whole month.

Thanks for any advice.

Shouldn't the data add-on be 5GigaBytes for £13.02 pm?

You pay for the full month in which you cancel.

@JB1070  You can use up to 50Gb per month when roaming this includes any extra data purchased.      It’s  a monthly add on so it’s still £25

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@JB1070   when 3 of us went to Aus a few years ago, we bought a local sim at the airport when we arrived and set it up on a spare phone, used that as a hotspot for the other phones. so no roaming costs but internet and phone access when we needed it.

With eSim's and/or dual sim phones it will be even easier now.
