Roaming abroad plan is not working. My phone is displaying emergency calls only

I contacted EE to activate roaming abroad on my phone. I received a text on the day I travelled.  I have now arrived the us and unable to use my phone to call or receive calls. Please I need this urgently sorted.  Thanks

Thanks for coming back to the community. 

Have you tried restarting your phone? 

Do you have any networks showing in your phone settings that you can select to see if you can make calls?
