Hi all,
firstly, apologies if this comes across as a silly question.
I’ve never been abroad before and I’m going away to Spain on Saturday. I have the roaming pass as an add on and was wondering if anyone could tell me how and when to activate it? I know to do it before I go away but do I do it right before we get on the plane? Or do I do it the day before we leave? Do I do it now?
Thank you

Good morning @Dan_W.
If you already have the add-on on your account all you will need to do is ensure you have roaming active by texting ROAMING to 150.
This can be done now or just before you leave the UK.
Upon your arrival to Spain you will receive a welcome text message from EE and will be able to use your services.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Hey there to stop the roaming pass, when you come back text STOP ROAMING PASS to 150. I believe that should stop it for you

Thanks for your suggestion.
I don’t have the full Roaming Pass, just daily roaming as required.
I tried using your suggestion, but it tells me that I don’t have a roaming pass, which I already knew.
I may need to go into my EE shop for help.
But many thanks to you for trying to help me.
Regards
David

Hi @CrostiFan
If you have the daily roaming fee, this will only charge you when roaming and will remain on your EE account for the next time you are abroad.
Please see our Changes to EU Roaming, Help page for more details.
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.

Kind regards
