i am overseas and my phone is not ringing when people call me from uk

help, my whats app rings and other notifications but calls from landlines go straight to voicemail, i need to fix this urgently - it doesnt help when you have no webchat, email and i cannot call you plus your messenger service doesnt respond and it takes an hour to find a place where i can even ask a question...please help

I know how important it is to stay connected, especially when away from home. Where is it you're at? 

Could I just check, do you have a contract or are you a pay as you go customer?
