Re: Unable to receive phone call

I have the same problem since yesterday. I don’t have a smartphone, it’s just a basic Dori  payg mobile phone 3G, I use for texts and calls. I can make a call but it says Number not recognised on the recipient’s phone,  I can’t receive calls, when they try to call me it says ‘number not recognised’..  I tried calling my landline, it says ‘there is no reply’ yet my mobile doesn’t ring.

its been fine until yesterday, It has a roaming eu add on because I am in the Channel  Isles.

Can anyone help please ?

By restarting do you mean turn it right off? I do that every night. I put a new 7day  roaming on this morning, I am able to make calls but I asked my sister in the uk to call me just now. She got the  message saying that she had dialled an incorrect number and then it said that it is not possible to connect the call.

Can you please shed any light on this problem? It’s strange.

Happy new year

It tells me the credit remaining on the £5 monthly pack ,  it’s 1110 mins,, 338 texts and 1,5Gb remaining till 8 Jan for the £5 pack .  I can’t use the data because I don’t have a smartphone.

I put a new £10 7dayEU  roaming on this morning in order to be able to send texts  and make calls. Strangely I can receive texts but my number isn’t recognised to receive calls.  It’s very  frustrating  what is causing this?

Thank you for your help

Could you try manually connecting to one of the other Jersey network providers, @Kaf26?

What kind of phone is it that you have?

Chris

Thank you so much Christopher you are a star!!

It worked. I have never reconnected to a different Jersey network provider so that never occurred to me. It must have somehow got changed.  Fantastic, I am so pleased 👍😊

by the way it’s a Doro 6620

Thank you again and a very Happy New Year
