Text messages about missed calls without the phone ringing

Since my reply to you, I realised my colleague had raised this with the team who looks after the voicemail. They're currently looking into this problem and say a fix will be rolled out in the next few days.

I’m having the same issue. The only missed call notification I get is from the VM number

This happens when I am out of reception. I haven't tried if my phone is off. 

Text messages come from VM number 07953222222.

Currently my VM is on. I haven't changed any settings to it. I have just started to receive text messages from that number.

Our Support Teams are currently testing a fix and hope to have it rolled out very soon.

Did a fix end up being rolled out as I'm having the same issue that Doctors and DWP can't call me because their numbers are withheld. The phone doesn't even ring out, it just goes straight to voicemail. It doens't even indicate that I've had a missed call on my "recent calls", which usually displays all outgoing and incoming calls, even if those calls were missed.

I’m having the same in my house. I have Wi-Fi calling switched on and still no calls. My wife having the same. 

when we make calls. No one can hear us.

The fix discussed earlier in the conversation was for a different issue.

Is your phone set to reject anonymous callers?
