You are right but it seems I have no choice if I want to send my parents a photo. They have a mobile (not smartphone) and don't have any WiFi or data on their contract. They are old and wary of the modern world of internet etc so every time I want to send a photo it costs me. We live 250 miles apart so sending regular photos would be nice but the charges are disgusting.

Any mobile device or smartphone that can receive MMS will often have email facilities also.
What phone do your parents have?

You/they can buy a MMS bundle via your EE app.
The quality must be very poor if they don't have a modern device.
Thanks
